Job Description

Farm2Me is a e-commerce marketplace in the Wholesale and Foodservice space and is opening a Wholesale marketplace in the Spring 2021 under construction. We are a collection of scrappy cooks, designers, artists, and tinkerers, inspired by all parts of the farming and making process. We are constantly striving to understand our tools, the cooking traditions they define, and the cuisine they produce.

We are currently hiring for:

• Director of Marketing, to start immediately

JOB DESCRIPTION

///Farm2Me network is seeking an experienced intern to join our team. We have a tidy marketplace of small batch and farm to table that are focused on the changing seasons, great ingredients and century-old techniques. We’re a relatively small crew of good-natured, detail-oriented hard workers who are seeking same.

Our hope is to find someone with skills in farm to table, cuisine or seasonal cookery to help us in our endeavor to grow our network. CEO Garry is working on new projects and improvements to the website and apps. You’ll have ability to contribute to our corporate strategy. We’re currently offering part-time and full-time internships available given the right fit. Internship is hourly, but flexible based on experience.

• Compensation: $178,000 – $284,000 Salary
• Reports to: CMO
• Hours: 10-40 hours/week
• Locations: remote

Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial, wholesale, or distributor food models (preferably in US)
• A good attitude about learning from our experience as well as sharing their knowledge
• A readiness to learn our standards and practices
• A self-starting strong work ethic: clean, efficient, punctual
• A working cell phone, laptop, and email address
• And hopefully you have a good time at your work, enjoy cooking, eating delicious things

Responsibilities include:

• Make brand Co-Founders feel valued in a community environment
• Efficiently onboard consistently high-quality food and drinks
• Efficiently assemble seasonal collections
• Onboard a variety of Co-Founders
• Maintain website and apps through hourly, daily, and weekly organizing tasks
• Onboard and upload products
• Stock ingredients and product
• Participate in community volunteerism
• Demonstrate knowledge of Farm2Me’s producer partners and trading model
• Participate in team trips to local farms, producers, and food manufacturers — including Celebrity Chefs.
